The Deputy Governorship Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Gboluga Ikengboju has assured the leadership of the party that he is working assiduously with his principal, Eyitayo Jegede SAN to reconcile all aggrieved members to pave way for seamlessness in the forthcoming election in the state.
Gboluga who was addressing leaders and major stakeholders from Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo LGA on Wednesday, 26th August, 2020, explained that for the past few days, they have been visiting the leaders of the PDP and interest groups to bridge the gap in their differences, which has really turned out to be a huge success to the party.
The lawmaker explained that intra-party squabbles is an integral part of every emerging democracy, especially after primary elections and the party’s leadership has done very well to manage it and ensure everyone is brought on board so that victory can be attained at the end of the day.
He said “we have been meeting with our leaders and they have promised to do everything possible to bring the party together, so that we can record desired victory better than the last general elections.”
Gboluga also posited that the Jegede led administration would ensure equitable distribution of resources across the 18 LGAs of the state if elected, noting that all plans for a transformed Ondo state have been finalized.
