Rector Commiserates With Bursar Over Death Of Husband

The Rector, Federal Polytechnic, Ile Oluji, Prof. Emmanuel Fasakin has expressed rude shock over the news of the sudden death of Barr. Oluwatosin Ogunbodede, the husband of the institution’s Bursar, Mrs. Olufunke Ogunbodede who died on Saturday 2nd January, 2021 in an auto-crash along Ilesa-Akure highway.

The late Barr. Ogunbodede until his death was the Chief of Protocol (COP) to the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.

The Rector who had along with the Registrar of the institution visited the home of the deceased in Owo, on Sunday 3rd January, 2021 to commiserate with the family conveyed the heartfelt condolences of the Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji community to Mrs. Ogunbodede while encouraging her to look up to Jesus who is the giver of life, and the great Comforter.

In the statement made public, the Rector enjoined members of Staff to appropriately share the moment of grief with the Bursar just as he prayed for the repose of Barr. Oluwatosin Ogunbodede’s soul.
