Ondo State House of Assembly suspends another lawmaker

The Ondo State House of Assembly crisis of politicking may have taken as new turn as House of Assembly members suspend yet another member over misconduct.

Hon. Leonard Tomide Akinribido

The Ondo State House of Assembly, Ikalevoice.com reliably gathered has suspended the Lawmaker Representing Ondo West Constituency 1, Hon. Leonard Tomide Akinribido.


According to sources at the Assembly, Hon. Tomide was suspended  over gross misconduct and use of vulgar words in the hallowed chamber.


Recall, the suspension of the Lawmaker Leonard Tomide Akinribodo is coming few weeks after three lawmakers were suspended for similar offence. 


Mr  Akinribido who is the Deputy Minority Leader has been ordered to drop official documents in his care.


He was also ordered to abstain from the premises of the Assembly complex while the suspension lasts.


Mr. Akinribido has now joined the suspension bench of the Deputy Speaker of the house, Hon.Iroju Ogundeji, Hon.Adewale Williams and Hon.Favour Tomomewo who were also suspended on July 8, 2020.
