A nongovernmental organisation, Olori Barbie Ademulegun Children Foundation has identied with the less-privileged children in Upenme Kingdom in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State in order to give them sense of belonging in this period of lockdown and pandemic.
In its recent field party, the NGO visited Upenme community in Owo local government to distribute clothing materials and other items to children in the community.
According to the President and Project Director, Olori Barbie Ademulegun who is the wife of the founder of Ademulegun Royal Trust, Prince Olumuyiwa Ademulegun, said the outreach was all about identifying with the children in the community and give them the necessary support.
Olori Barbie said her passion for the children was inspired by the activities of her late mother inlaw who was passionate about children and the less privileged in the community.
She noted that the children needed a platform for them to be inspired and believe in themselves.
She added that the children would enjoy the support of the organization in their pursuit in life.
Olori Barbie who eulogized her husband for his consistent support promised to give life to the children in Upenme Kingdom with the support of every stakeholder in the community.
