Barrister Morayo Lebi: Blessed are the merciful

Barrister Morayo Lebi once again demonstrated last week that you don’t necessarily need to be in government to show compassion to and solidarity with the vulnerable members of the society.

As measure to mitigate the suffering of the people caused by the lockdown to combat COVID-19, Barrister Morayo Lebi arranged some Financial palliatives of N5,000 each to over one hundred and twenty  indigent and  other vulnerable members comprising of six local government areas from Ondo South, who gathered together at Okitipupa, his country home.

Ikale Voice Newspaper can authoritatively confirm that additional N500, 000 has also been earmarked for some 100 people that will be given N5000 each.

The beneficiaries are widows, orphans and aged members of the community. This palliative is certainly devoid of political motives, but borne out of philanthropic disposition and genuine empathy towards the poor.

Barrister Morayo Lebi rounded off his humanitarian gesture at home, (Akotogbo), where the Kabiyesi Laba/ Regent Iwalewa were on hands, together with their chiefs to supervise the palliatives (#5000 each), given to some widows, the aged and some nominees with special issues (100 beneficiaries altogether).
