Executive Chairman, Irele Local Government, Hon. (Barr.) Ajimotokin Olusegun Philip made this statement at the just concluded IRELE LOCAL GOVERNMENT DEVELOPMENT SUMMIT 2020.
Hon. Ajimotokin said that good governance is the art of putting wise thoughts into prudent actions in a way that advances the well-being of those governed and we are committed in making this manifest in our dear local government.
This Summit is a journey to make real impact that changes lives, give meaning to life and living, and turns vision of the masses into realities demands a true focus, an utmost zeal and robustness with an unfailing tenacity to do whatever necessary within our powers and reach, and with all needed dexterity, wit and wisdom, to make real impacts and give real liberation to the masses.
Hon. Ajimotokin said that the purpose of the summit was to deliberate our numerous challenges together and jointly proffer long lasting solutions to them.
Fortunately for all of us, we were able to gather adequate information and by the grace of God come 2021 we will ensure full implementation of the summit output.
He extended his appreciation to all the guest speakers of both the first and second sessions for the two-day Summit, CSP Kunle Odimayo(Security), Pof. Francis Igbasan(Agriculture), Dr. J. K Naiyeju (Economy) and Prof. Michael Simidele Odimayo (Education) for a job well done and assured them of full implementation of their broad presentations.
Also, he expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the Summit Chairman, Prince Feyi Adetu, all the Chairmen of the four sessions: Mrs. Agnes O Akinbuwa, Pastor Olanrewaju Oyegunwa, Hon. Mrs. Omorinola Olanipekun, SSA on Cooperative Matter to Ondo State Governor, Pastor P. K. V Lijoka, Religious Leaders, Traditional Leaders, Artisans, Market Women, stakeholders and all participants for their brilliant contributions towards the huge success recoded in the summit.
Hon. Ajimotokin assured all that were instrumental to the success of the summit of full implementation of their various contributions and presentations as it will constitutes Local Government Policy action in the 2021 fiscal year.
