Aiyedatiwa Calls for Collaboration with Nigerians in Diaspora.

Ondo State Deputy Governor, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa on Sunday 19th December 2021, called for more Investments from Nigerians in diaspora.

The Deputy Governor made this appeal at the commissioning of multi million Naira Poju Hotel and Events Center, situated along Oda Road, Akure.

The edifice is owned by Ekiti born former student activist Bowale Adepoju, an Information Security expert based in Texas, USA.

Aiyedatiwa who was represented at the event by Permanent Secretary, Office of the Deputy Governor, Mr Oluwagbenga Akingbasote, commended Bowale Adepoju for the vision behind the project, promising that the first phase of Oda dual carriage road would soon be completed.

The Deputy Governor highlighted some of the State enormous Investment potentials especially the state huge market, favourable government policies, good road networks, stable environment, and youthful population which is a veritable source of labour and a consuming population.

He therefore called for more partnership and collaboration of Ondo State indigenes in the diaspora to achieve Ondo State economic growth targets particularly during this challenging times.

He pointed out that, “across the globe, the diaspora community plays a critical role in their home State’s economic growth and development” .

The Deputy Governor equally noted that Ondo State has enormous potentials to attract significant diaspora inflow.

Aiyedatiwa therefore, called on the various associations and groups of Ondo State indigenes in the diaspora to pull resources together and identify viable Investment opportunities in the State.
