The Senator representing Ondo south Senatorial district at the National Assembly, Sen. Boluwaji Kunlere has tasked the people of Ondo South Senatorial district to believe in their ability to deliver.
Senator Kunlere made this known on Saturday while distributing 8 cars, 50 generators, 50 sewing machines, 66 grinding machines, 85 motorcycles, 50 clippers and 42 hair driers at Okitipupa Local Government.
Distributing the items to the people of the south Senatorial district, Kunlere said this was part of the electoral promises he made to the people.
“Today is a reality after one year of intensive hard work and sleepless politicking at the senate. This is also a re-affirmation of Mr. Governor‘s caring heart agenda to the people,”
“Don’t be deceived by sweet talk of those who promise millions and positions to destroy your credibility; always ensure that peace reigns for progress to be made,” He said.
Earlier, the Ondo State Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko described the Senator as a man of dignity ready to take up any challenge because he believed in God.
“Today, we are making history and we have seen that we have not made a mistake in voting the Senator as the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; we are very proud of you,”
“I can beat my chest anywhere and say this is a man of integrity, very hardworking; we need more people like him,” Governor Mimiko said.
Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, the Ese-Odo Local Government Labour Party Chairman, Retired Captain Job Nelson described the program as fantastic which has shown the leadership integrity of the Senator.
“During his campaign tour, he never promised any of these; he promised to uplift theSouth senatorial district to the next level, but he has done this,” Captain job stressed.
Beneficiaries of the empowerment programme were nominated from the 66 wards of the six local government areas of Ondo South Senatorial District.

God bless Sen. Kunlere. We expect more from him expecially in the area of job creation. Iroko jooo, Gba si beee
This is the first time a Senator would do such a thing in our senatorial district. This should be a continous process and not just a once in a year programme. I love this fine Senator and Ikale will surely bless him. God Bless Ikale Voice on this
This is wonderful to note but not everyone is Okada rider. We need job creation for our graduates. I am pleading to Sen. Boluwaji Kunlere through Ikale Voice to create job opportunites for our graduates. The empowerment programme is a wonderful idea and it would go a long way too.
Thank you Sen. Kunlere for this wonderful project. I hope the hair sewing machine were not distributed to men oooo. We are aware of supports for our Senatorial District. Please dont relax. Do more.
